We visited Lisbon Oceanarium a little while back.
What a magical place it is.
Set around a huge central tank that houses sharks, rays and a prehistoric sun fish.
Smaller tanks feed off it, branching out to cater for the more delicate, the more specialised and the plain more wierd.
Birds too, puffins and terns and things. That flew down and dropped little fish onto your heads.
But oh they had sea otters! My photo doesn’t do them justice. Laying on their backs, eating ice cubes from little pouches. With the cutest, most dextrous of paws.
We were there about three hours, noses pressed snottily against the glass. Just staring. And staring.
And oh! We found Nemo!
